Best Sales Prospecting Software (2026)
Sales prospecting software helps a seller decide whom to approach and how to reach them. This page compares 8 tools and services, from large contact databases and outbound platforms to a lead service run by people and a public tender alert service. It is for sales leaders in companies that sell physical products to other businesses, who need new customers faster than word of mouth brings them.
Who this list is for
It suits sales directors, business development managers and founders who build prospect lists by hand from directories and LinkedIn. It also suits marketing teams that must feed a sales team with qualified leads. The tools differ in kind: some sell data, some sell outreach, and one starts from your product.
How we compared
We used vendor websites and product pages, we did not test the data and we cannot verify its accuracy.
- Starting point: a database of contacts, a sequence tool, a service run by people or a product-led search.
- Geographic focus, such as Europe, West Africa, South Africa or global.
- Compliance stance stated by the vendor for personal data.
- How contacts are obtained: subscription, credits, lists or a managed service.
- Link to a CRM or sequence tool after the list is built.

Where Millisave fits
The Millisave Sales Engine starts from your products, not from a contact list. You describe what you sell, and the AI reads each product and proposes which sectors buy it, which buyer roles decide and which countries to target. You can untick suggestions and add your own, and the understanding is saved for future searches. The engine searches the Millisave B2B database and returns companies scored on a Fit score from 0 to 100.
Fit uses no contact data. By default it weighs industry, product, location, similarity to your customers and buyer role, and results fall into Hot (75 and above), Warm (50 to 74) and Cold bands. Reachability, how many routes to contact exist, is scored separately. Contacts are unlocked with credits, one for each decision maker, so you choose before you pay. The AI proposes and the salesperson decides. Millisave does not describe LinkedIn extensions or a dialer. The Sales Engine is part of a modular platform, and the CRM, Send to Order and Source to Pay can be added when you are ready. How to choose
Ask first whether you know whom you want to reach. If yes, a contact database or a sequence tool is the fastest route. If not, a fit-based search helps you decide which companies deserve an approach at all. Then ask about data origin and consent, because regulation differs by country. Finally, price the whole path: search, unlocking contacts, outreach and the CRM that stores the results. A cheap list that nobody follows up is the most expensive option.
Consider the economics of follow-up too. Finding a thousand names is easy, but a small team can only call a few dozen well each week. A tool that ranks companies by fit helps you concentrate effort on the best ones, while a pure list tool leaves ranking to you. Whatever you choose, agree in advance who owns each lead, how fast it must be contacted and how results flow back into the CRM.
Questions to ask in a demo
- Search for your own product and show why each company was returned.
- Show how a contact is unlocked and what happens if the lookup fails.
- Explain how often data is refreshed and how bounced emails are handled.
- Explain how opt-out and deletion requests are processed.
Region note
Data coverage is regional. Tools such as Cognism describe a European compliance focus, Kolonell LeadScraper covers West Africa, and Database360 covers South Africa, the rest of Africa and the Gulf. TuniMarché addresses Tunisian public tenders, which is a different job from finding private buyers. Millisave names Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, France, the Gulf, Canada and Kenya as markets.

Frequently asked questions
What is sales prospecting software?
Sales prospecting software helps find companies and contacts that might buy, and often helps contact them. Some tools sell databases of contacts, some run outbound email sequences and some score companies against your product. The best choice depends on whether you already know your target market or need help defining it.
How does Millisave Sales Engine differ from ZoomInfo or Apollo.io?
ZoomInfo and Apollo.io are built on large contact and company databases. Millisave Sales Engine starts from your products: the AI proposes which sectors, roles and countries fit, then scores companies on a Fit score without using contact data. Contacts are unlocked afterwards, one credit per decision maker, only where you choose.
What do the Hot, Warm and Cold bands mean?
In Millisave Sales Engine, companies get a Fit score from 0 to 100. Hot is 75 and above, Warm is 50 to 74 and Cold is below 50. A score of 50 or more counts as a qualified company. Reachability, a separate score of contact routes, tells you how easily a decision maker can be reached.
Is TuniMarché the same kind of tool?
No. TuniMarché.tn is a subscription service that searches Tunisian public tenders published on TUNEPS and sends alerts, so it helps you respond to published demand. Sales prospecting tools such as the Millisave Sales Engine find and score private companies that may buy your products before any tender exists.
Does Millisave publish Sales Engine prices?
Prices for the Sales Engine depend on the visitor country and are shown on the Millisave pricing page, so this list does not quote an amount. Contact credits are charged per decision maker unlocked. Check the pricing page for your country and ask the team to explain what each plan includes.
