Software shortlist
Best Business Software from the United States (2026)
American software sets many of the reference points that buyers use worldwide: spend management suites, CRMs and sales data platforms. This page lists 15 vendors from the United States, plus one Canadian procurement vendor that is grouped with the North American set. It helps mid-market buyers see what each name actually sells before comparing it with a smaller, more focused platform.
Who this list is for
It is written for finance, procurement and sales leaders at companies that make and sell physical products, and for consultants who prepare shortlists. If a board member has asked "why not just buy the one everybody knows?", this page gives you the vocabulary to answer. It also helps teams outside the United States who meet these names in tenders or in a parent company's policy.
How we compared
We used each vendor's public website and product pages. We did not test the software or speak to customers, and we make no claim about quality. The criteria were:
- The product family the vendor leads with, for instance spend management, CRM or contact data.
- Any AI features, noted as the vendor's own description rather than a measured result.
- Whether a free tier is described on the vendor's site.
- The kind of customer named by the vendor, such as manufacturing, public sector or higher education.
We do not quote prices, because most of these vendors publish them only through a sales conversation or a plan page that changes.

Where Millisave fits
The Millisave product to compare here is the CRM. It tracks opportunities in pipelines whose stages carry a win probability and a target cycle time, and it shows weighted pipeline value. An executive summary covers forecast revenue, pipeline coverage, conversion rate, sales cycle and the forecast gap. AI alerts flag silent opportunities, missing next steps and deals stuck in a stage. The AI proposes, and the sales manager decides what to do.
The CRM is linked to the rest of the platform: the Sales Engine finds and scores prospects, Send to Order handles quotes and campaigns, and Source to Pay sits on the buying side, so a seller can see supply constraints before promising a date. The United States is not among the markets Millisave names today; Canada, France, the Gulf and North Africa are. If you plan a US rollout, ask about availability first, then request a demo at millisave.com/request-for-demo.
How to choose
Separate three questions. First, do you need a system of record for deals, or data to find new buyers? A CRM and a contact database solve different problems. Second, how many people will use it, and do they sell, buy or both? Third, who will configure it? Large suites reward a dedicated administrator, while smaller platforms suit teams without one. Ask for a trial or sandbox where the vendor offers one and bring a real pipeline.
Questions to ask in a demo
- Show a forecast built from stage probabilities, and explain how a person can override it.
- Show how a lost deal reason is captured and reported.
- Describe which AI features are included in the base plan and which cost extra.
- Explain how contact data is sourced and how opt-outs are honoured.
Region note: United States
International teams should check the languages, pricing currency, data residency and local invoicing that each vendor supports for their own country before signing. Ask for the answers in writing, and compare them with what the vendor's public pages state, so that a sales conversation never replaces the documentation.

Frequently asked questions
Which US vendors on this list are CRMs?
Salesforce Sales Cloud and HubSpot are the two CRM platforms on this list. Salesforce adds forecasting, sales engagement, CPQ and AI agents, while HubSpot combines marketing, sales, service and content hubs and describes a free CRM tier. Gong is related but different: it captures customer interactions to support forecasting and enablement.
What is the difference between ZoomInfo or Apollo.io and a CRM?
ZoomInfo and Apollo.io are built on B2B contact and company data, used to find and reach prospects. A CRM records what happens with each opportunity once you are talking to a buyer. Many teams use both. Millisave Sales Engine scores companies on fit for your products, then passes them to the CRM.
Is Procurify an American company?
Procurify is a Canadian procure-to-pay vendor covering approvals, purchase orders, invoices, cards and expenses. This page groups it with the American procurement suites because buyers often shortlist them together. Check the contracting entity and data location with the vendor if that matters to your legal or tax team.
Does Millisave serve the United States?
The United States is not among the markets Millisave names today. Millisave serves Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, France, the Gulf, Canada and Kenya, with an English and French interface. If you plan a US rollout, ask the Millisave team about availability, support hours and invoicing before you commit.
Are the vendors in this list ranked?
No. The list groups vendors by their main product line and compares them on stated criteria taken from public pages. We did not test the software, and we do not give scores. The order inside a group follows our data files, not performance, popularity or advertising.
