Millisave vs Teradix: E-Sourcing vs Source-to-Pay

4 min read, Last checked October 2026

Teradix and Millisave both help a purchasing team run sourcing in a structured way, but they start from different places. Teradix presents itself as a sourcing and supplier-engagement platform. Its site lists purchase requisitions with approvals, e-RFx (RFQ, RFP, RFI and tenders), reverse auctions, supplier management, contract management and spend analytics. It is a Cairo company with an office in New Maadi, and its public pages are in English. Millisave treats sourcing as one link in a longer chain that runs from the purchase request to the payment, and then carries on to the sales side.

What each product is built around

Teradix is organised around sourcing events. A buyer publishes an RFx or opens a reverse auction, suppliers respond, and the team compares what comes back. The vendor also describes APIs for connecting to other systems. Ask the vendor what automation sits behind the word "smart" on its home page.

Millisave Source to Pay follows the whole purchase. A request starts as an RFQ when the need is defined or an RFP when it is open, passes the approvals set for its workspace, and moves into e-sourcing with suppliers taken from your own list, the marketplace, a one-off spot supplier or AI Engine Search. Accepting an offer creates a draft purchase order, and receipts, bills, credit notes, payments and contracts stay linked to it. Budgets track what is available, committed and spent.

How the rest of the Millisave platform adds up

If sourcing is only the first problem, the other packs matter. Send to Order covers quotes, campaigns by email and WhatsApp, and the shareable e-catalogue. The Digital Catalog keeps one product record that serves both buying and selling. The Sales Engine finds and scores companies that are likely to buy what you make, the CRM tracks pipelines and deal alerts, and Pilotage and Governance adds dashboards and KPIs. You can start with one pack and add others later. In every AI feature the principle is the same: AI proposes, people decide, and approvals and budgets still apply. Egypt fit

Language: Teradix publishes in English; Millisave interfaces are in English and French. If your buyers work in Arabic, ask both vendors what they can show. Currency: Millisave budgets are listed in TND, EUR, USD, GBP and SAR today, so ask about EGP before a pilot. E-invoicing: the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) e-invoice is normally handled in accounting. Teradix's sourcing pages do not mention it and neither does Millisave's documented scope, so plan for your accounting system to keep that job.

Who should choose which

Choose Teradix if your priority is running competitive events and auctions with suppliers in the region, and you want a vendor with an office in Cairo. Choose Millisave if you want the request, approval, sourcing, order, receipt, bill and payment to sit in one flow, you want AI advisors on offers and suppliers, or you also want to sell, quote and follow up customers on the same product data. Ask each vendor for a live demo with one of your own RFQs.

Frequently asked questions

What is the main difference between Teradix and Millisave?

Teradix focuses on sourcing events: requisitions, e-RFx, reverse auctions, supplier and contract management and spend dashboards. Millisave Source to Pay covers the whole purchase, from request and approval through RFQ or RFP, purchase order, receipt, bill and payment, and adds AI advisors and a sales side on the same product data.

Does Millisave support reverse auctions like Teradix?

Teradix lists reverse auctions on its site. Millisave documents RFQ and RFP sourcing with negotiation and weighted commercial and technical scoring, but reverse auctions are not in its documented feature list. If auctions are central to how you buy, ask for a demonstration of your own case before you decide.

Is Millisave available in Arabic for Egyptian teams?

Millisave interfaces are currently in English and French. Teradix publishes its site in English. Egyptian teams that need Arabic screens for every user should ask both vendors for the current language list and a demo before committing to a pilot.

Can Millisave replace my ERP or ETA e-invoicing?

No. Millisave improves purchasing and sales decisions and performance; ERPs manage transactions. ETA e-invoicing normally stays in your accounting or ERP system. Ask both vendors how purchase orders, bills and payments should pass to the system that submits invoices to the Egyptian Tax Authority.
