Best Digital Catalog Software for B2B (2026)
A digital catalogue holds the product records a business buys, makes or sells, and shares them with others. This page compares 9 options that handle catalogues in very different ways: product information platforms, B2B marketplaces, ordering apps and retail systems. It is for operations, purchasing and sales leaders deciding where the product record should live.
Who this list is for
It is for manufacturers and distributors whose product data is split between a price list, an ERP, a spreadsheet and a PDF brochure, and who are asked by customers for an online catalogue. It also helps purchasing teams that keep their own item list for reorder points and prices, separately from what sales publishes.
How we compared
We compared on stated criteria from vendor pages. We did not test the products, and we publish no score.
- Kind of product: a product information tool, a marketplace, an ordering app or a retail system.
- Who the catalogue is for: your own team, your customers or a shared marketplace audience.
- Reach: whether products are shared through links, apps, retailers or a public marketplace.
- Connection to buying and selling steps, such as orders and stock.
- Who controls the data: the company that owns the products, or the platform.

Where Millisave fits
The Millisave Digital Catalog is one record per product that serves both sides of the business. It holds criticality, categories, catalogues, suppliers and contracts. Purchasing sees minimum and maximum stock, reorder thresholds and bulk stock updates, plus actual, estimated and weighted average prices and discounts. The same products can be ordered from the marketplace and shared as an e-catalogue with customers, and they feed the Sales Engine. The wider platform is modular, so you can start with the catalogue next to Source to Pay and add the CRM or Send to Order later.
That makes it different from a marketplace, where you list products on someone else's platform, and from a product information tool, which focuses on syndicating rich content to retailers. Millisave is software a company runs itself, aimed at mid-market makers and sellers. It does not describe retailer syndication or digital shelf analytics. The AI proposes, such as AI-generated banners for the e-catalogue, and people publish. Request a demo at millisave.com/request-for-demo.
How to choose
Start with the audience. If thousands of retailers should find your products, a marketplace can bring reach but also takes a role between you and the buyer. If you need to deliver rich product content to large retail partners, a product information platform may fit. If your priority is a clean product record that purchasing and sales both use, a catalogue inside your own business platform is the simpler path. Check who owns the data if you leave.
A practical test is to take ten of your products, including one with several variants, and ask each vendor to show them from entry to customer view. The effort of loading data is usually the real cost of any catalogue. Check whether you can import from Excel, how images and documents are attached, and how categories and prices are maintained once the first load is done.
Questions to ask in a demo
- Show one product from creation to a customer-facing page.
- Show how a price or stock change reaches every place where the product appears.
- Explain how a customer places an order, or asks for a quote, from the catalogue.
- Explain how you export your data if you leave.
Region note
This is the smallest list in the series because catalogue tools differ so much in kind. It mixes French, American and Dutch product data tools with marketplaces and ordering apps from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Tunisia and South Africa. Millisave names Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, France, the Gulf, Canada and Kenya as its markets, with an English and French interface.

Frequently asked questions
What is a digital catalogue for B2B?
A digital catalogue is a structured list of your products, with descriptions, categories, prices and stock information, that can be shared online with customers or used internally. For B2B sellers it replaces PDF brochures and spreadsheets. The most useful versions connect to quotes and orders so that prices stay consistent.
Is a marketplace the same as a digital catalogue?
No. On a marketplace such as Cartona or Tradeling you list products on a shared platform that brings its own buyers. A digital catalogue you run yourself, like the Millisave Digital Catalog, keeps the record under your control and shares it with the customers you choose through an e-catalogue link.
How is Millisave different from a PIM such as Akeneo or Salsify?
Product information platforms focus on enriching and syndicating content to retailers and, for Salsify, digital shelf analytics. The Millisave Digital Catalog focuses on one working product record for buying and selling, with stock thresholds, average prices, suppliers and contracts, shared as an e-catalogue. It does not describe retailer syndication.
Can purchasing and sales use the same catalogue in Millisave?
Yes. Purchasing uses the Digital Catalog for stock thresholds, suppliers, contracts and average prices. Sales shares the same products as an e-catalogue with customers, and they also feed the Sales Engine. Having one record avoids the mismatch between the purchasing list and the sales price list.
Why are there only a few vendors in this list?
Catalogue software differs widely in kind, so we included only vendors whose public pages describe a catalogue, product data or ordering function as a main or secondary feature. We left out tools we could not source. The list will grow as we verify more vendors, and it is not a ranking.
